Grand National 2009 horse racing tips, free Grand National 2009 horse racing tips. Grand National 2009 horse racing tips and form guide.
The runners for the 2009 Grand National have been posted and on the left of this page we list the final forty runners, and below we give you our idea of the top ten finishers and the winner of the Grand National 2009.
The Grand National is the race that everybody likes a flutter on from the old lady next door to the royal family but remember that it should be taken as a bit of fun and is very much a lottery as to who will win, because the form book can be thrown out of the window, even if your fancied horse dosen't fall at the first fence, then it can be brought crashing down by any of the other fallers, in fact the only thing that is gauranteed is that there will be lots of fallers and it's only after the last fence has been jumped that the form book comes into play for the horses that are left.
We select the top ten runners and give you our opinion as to their chances and where we think they will finish in the race, as those of you with a long memory may recall, we always recommend betting each way on the National and as you will see below we tipped not only the winner of the 2008 grand national we also tipped four of the first five finishers, but that's not what the National is all about, if you want to make a profit then look at other races because anything can happen in this race.

Our top ten tips for the 2009 Grand National
My Will
Has a good weight and comes from a good stable, showed just how good he is by getting fifth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup but this race is more his style.
Snowy Morning
A class horse who has a turn of speed on his day as proved by being second to Denman in the Sun Alliance Chase in 2007, trained by Willie Mullins, likes soft ground and came third in 2008.
Comply or Die
Won the 2008 Grand National in style and has a good chance this year, could be the first horse since red rum to win two years in a row.
Butlers Cabin
Won the Irish National 2007 and unlucky to fall when going well in the Grand National 2008 likes good ground and has proven stamina.
Black Apalachi
An easy winner over these fences last November, he is used to winning big races and there is some smart money being put on this horse.
Rambling Minster
Since the handicapper set his weight for this race he has been showing some good form and won the four mile Scottish Borders National at Kelso.
Hear The Echo
This horse has been held back for the Grand National ever since he won the
2008 Irish Grand National, probably the best of the Irish contingent.
Parsons Legacy
This horse was well fancied last year but could not compete because of an injury, he has a good chance and will probably be a big price.
Big Fella Thanks
Won the Skybet Chase at Doncaster, jumps with confidence, comes from a good stable and has lots of stamina.
Irish Raider
This may well be an Irish Raider, The trainer Willie Mullins knows a good horse when he sees one, he has a great chance but there are doubts about his stamina, he has never run over three miles before.
In 2008 Four out of the first five were in our top ten
Comply or Die
Snowy Morning
Slim Pickings
Bewleys Berry
