The Grand National is the race that everybody likes a flutter on from the old lady next door to the royal family but remember that it should be taken as a bit of fun and is very much a lottery as to who will win, because the form book can be thrown out of the window, even if your fancied horse dosen't fall at the first fence, then it can be brought crashing down by any of the other fallers, in fact the only thing that is gauranteed is that there will be lots of fallers and it's only after the last fence has been jumped that the form book comes into play for the horses that are left.

We select the top ten runners and give you our opinion as to their chances and where we think they will finish in the race, as those of you with a long memory may recall, we always recommend betting each way on the National, if you want to make a profit then look at other races because anything can happen in this great race.
